1. What’s the difference?

Due to superior layout design, ASRock motherboard supports PCIe 5.0 M.2 despite the limitation, please refer to each product page for more information.

2. The most obvious difference on AM5 motherboard is the change from PGA to BGA, please be careful while installing the CPU.

3. Please follow the procedure as written on the CPU protection cover, install processor before removing the cover to protect socket contacts, please keep and reinstall the cover if the processor is removed.

4. With TDP up to 170W, ASRock enhanced the VRM design on every AM5 motherboards to unleash the full potential of Ryzen^TM 9000, 8000 and 7000 Series Processors. Besides a well-designed motherboard, you will also need a sufficient CPU cooling solution such as 360mm AIO water cooler to keep your system working at its best.

5. AM5 platform shares the same CPU cooler plastic retention module which is suitable for stock AMD CPU cooler. However, since the CPU socket is different than AM4, please make sure your CPU cooler has the correct accessories for AM5 platform if your application requires an aftermarket CPU bracket.
